The Whitechapel Centre

The Whitechapel Centre appreciates every effort made by individuals and organisations to help us do our work and by extension, help the homeless. While we do accept food, personal care items, clothing and items of homeware, if you are considering donating to us, we request that you observe the following:

• Food – must be within best before and use by dates
• Personal care items - the Whitechapel always needs hand, face and bath towels, soap and deodorants.  We accept used towels in good condition; however, other items should be unused.
• Clothing – the items we need mostly are jeans, t-shirts, coats, tracksuits and sweaters. We also need both ladies and gents socks and underwear - however these items must be new and unused.
