The aim of The Hub Service is to prevent rough sleeping and ensure no new rough sleeper spends a second night out on the street, and forms an integral part of our commitment to achieving the No Second Night Out Standard across the Liverpool City Region. The Hub Homelessness Resolution Team will deliver housing and welfare advice to resolve or prevent homelessness for new clients who are rough sleeping or are at risk of rough sleeping. Solutions may include access to new supported accommodation, homeless prevention, reconnection and a range of other solutions. The team have a range of options available to them to ensure anyone referred to them will have somewhere to sleep and be provided with the advice and support necessary to find a long term solution.
Who is the project for?
Any new rough sleeper arriving on the streets for the first time and people who are at risk of rough sleeping within the Liverpool City Council boundary. The service will also work with people in squats and street drinkers who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
