Maria began volunteering in 2022 when she moved to Liverpool.
“I knew homelessness existed, but I was living in a bit of a bubble regarding the extent of the problem, and the variety of reasons as to why a person can find themselves homeless.
"I love helping at The Whitechapel Centre - I help in an admin role, taking calls and directing people to the help they need. "The whole team are so dedicated - they inspire me. Please support however you can.”
