Rosie got in touch about our 50th year to share her memories when working with the probation service.
She said, "The probation service used to meet people on supervision orders [at The Whitechapel Centre] because some of their lives were too chaotic to keep appointments regularly.
"From that we got involved in events like jumble sales, days out with local community, taking men out to shop, then teaching them how to cook nutritious meals.
"This was during the time Maureen McCarthy worked there - it was she who facilitated our presence there and made us very welcome. I have always been impressed with the work you do for our most vulnerable in the city.
"Your help made our jobs easier and gave hope to so many, for which I applaud you all who carry on providing support and hope to so many."
