Person Specification: Able to work a morning shift (7.30am – 1pm) in a fast paced kitchen environment, observing food hygiene best practice. Comfortable engaging with people using the services. People person who is willing to work as part of a team.
Duties and responsibilities
To support staff in the preparation of a cooked breakfast and cooked lunch, for people accessing the Enablement Centre.
To support staff in the delivery of meal service for both breakfast and lunch.
To aid in the clear-up following meals, maintain an orderly and clean kitchen and Bistro area.
To assist in the management of the Bistro are, setting up for meal service, and maintaining adequate levels of resources during meal service.
To take inventory of current supplies of food, undertake appropriate food hygiene checks, and maintain the orderly running of the kitchen.
To assist staff in receiving deliveries of food, including donated food.
