City Region Intensive Support Service
Who can use this service:
Commissioners within each of the City Region Areas (Wirral, Halton, St. Helens, Knowsley and Sefton) work with partner agencies to identify clients to refer to this service. The project targets service users who have support needs in at least three of the following: homelessness, mental health, substance misuse and offending. The majority of service users will have multiple exclusions from services.
Support is provided as necessary Mon-Fri, 9 to 5pm.
Support workers adopt an assertive outreach approach to engage with service users.

Our experienced support workers adopt an assertive outreach approach to engage with clients and aim to ensure that they have their needs met in a holistic and person-centred way whilst working to minimise any risk issues. The service works in close partnership with other local support agencies, housing providers and treatment services to offer creative solutions and tailored support.
