Person Specification: Able to work an evening shift (3 hours, 7.30pm -10.30pm) shift in a fast paced and sometimes challenging environment. Good communicator, comfortable engaging with people using the services. People person who is willing to work as part of a team.
Duties and responsibilities
To assist staff in monitoring Service User behaviour, health and wellbeing.
To greet and admit Service Users to the building, signing in via Service User Reception Sheets ensuring records sheets are fully completed as instructed on induction.
To prepare simple food and serve to Service Users accessing the Night Hub, managing and maintaining the Kitchen area.
To work as part of a team to maintain good order in the Night Hub, ensuring hazards are removed and areas are kept clean and tidy.
To engage with service users and give encouragement where possible.
To manage the laundry facilities, washing and drying sleeping bags in preparation for the following evenings shift.
