Who can use this service? If you are rough sleeping anywhere in Merseyside and over 16 you are eligible for the project.
If you are single and homeless in Liverpool but not rough sleeping (e.g. you may be sofa-surfing or in a temporary hostel) and over 18, you are eligible for the project.
Please note that, with some exceptions, someone under 35 will only qualify for housing benefit for Shared Accommodation (i.e. may have to share cooking and/ or washing facilities).
To access the service call in to one of our drop-in sessions or complete a referral form online and we will contact you.
Opening Hours: Support is provided Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Venue: Your support worker will visit you in your home.
This project aims to support people who are homeless to access appropriate, good quality accommodation within the private rented sector.
We help find a suitable property and provide a guarantee bond to the landlord which means there is no need for a deposit. Each person is allocated a support worker who visits them in their new home and helps them through the process of resettlement into their own tenancy. The support worker also liaises with private sector landlords to maximize housing opportunities, ensure good working relations and provide a point of contact and support for the landlords.
If you are a landlord and would like information on how you could take part please get in touch
