Steps for Sanctuary can help.

This free service has been developed in partnership with YMCA and The Whitechapel Centre, and offers focused, intensive support.
 
Whether someone rents or owns their home, Steps to Sanctuary is designed to help them stay safe, secure, and supported. Through personalised safety planning, home security improvements, and practical help with sustaining tenancies or home ownership, this service aims to reduce risk while promoting stability and independence.
 
We offer:
 
•             Tailored risk and needs assessments
•             One-to-one, face-to-face support
•             Practical help with tenancy or home ownership - including budgeting, liaising with landlords/ mortgage providers, and addressing anti-social behaviour
•             Life skills support
•             Guidance through court or police processes if needed
•             Access to personal growth and social connection through The Whitechapel Centre New Beginnings programme and YMCA Flourish at the Farm.
