SEFTON TARGETED INTENSIVE SUPPORT SERVICE
Who can use this service?
Open to people who are over 18, live in the Borough of Sefton (or have a local connection). Sefton includes Bootle, Litherland, Crosby, Formby and Southport. This service is aimed at people with multiple needs (e.g. with issues such as substance misuse, mental health, offending as well as homelessness). If you do not have these additional needs you may be able to access support through Sefton’s generic floating support services. Opening Hours: Support is provided through agreed visits on a working day (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5pm) and at the weekend where there is a need. Venue: Your support worker will visit you in your home (temporary or permanent) or at another agreed location. |
Our Targeted Intensive Floating Support Service operates in the Borough of Sefton and works with people with multiple needs who are homeless or inadequately housed.
We can provide:-
Each service user has a Support Worker who helps them find and move into suitable accommodation and then manage that accommodation. This can include help with - budgeting and benefits; daily living skills; accessing health/mental health services; accessing treatment in relation to alcohol/substance misuse or other individual needs Support is provided for up to 6 months (depending on needs). |
