Our journey begins at Loggerheads Country Park, where we’ll meet as a group before setting off on a scenic trek, making our way to Moel Famau—meaning “Mother Mountain”—the highest peak in the Clwydian Range.
This circular walk covers approximately 7.5 miles, taking us through beautiful countryside and steadily up to the summit. At the top, we’ll reach the iconic Moel Famau Jubilee Tower, built in 1810 to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of King George III.
Our efforts are rewarded with breath-taking panoramic views, stretching across the Vale of Clwyd and all the way to the Snowdonia skyline. After taking time to rest, soak up the views and snap a few well-earned photos, we’ll begin our descent and return to Loggerheads Country Park.
Whether you’re in it for the challenge, the views, or the shared experience, this is a walk not to be missed.
