Who can use this service?
It is only possible to access the family centre by referral from Liverpool City Council's Housing Options Service. They can be contacted on freephone 0800 731 6844.

The Whitechapel Centre, jointly with SHAP, runs the Belvidere Family Centre.  The Belvidere Family Centre provides emergency accommodation for homeless families who have been assessed as needing the service by Liverpool City Council's Housing Options Service. 

The accommodation is provided on a temporary basis and the average length of stay is about 10 weeks.  The Belvidere staff work with Residents to help them prepare for and move on into other accommodation appropriate to their needs.  The service is provided 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
