Who can use this service?

Open to people who are:

• Aged 16 or over
• Have a Wirral connection
• Need housing related support to help establish, maintain or prevent the loss of their accommodation and independence.

This service prevents homelessness, supports people to access accommodation (resettlement), maintain their home and make improvements to health & well-being. 

Support is tailored to meet individual needs and may include: 

• early intervention for tenancies that are at risk 
• identify and apply for suitable accommodation via Property Pool Plus 
• support to manage current or new tenancies effectively 
• access to welfare benefits
• linking with other services such as Housing Options, GP, dentist, benefits agency and job centre
• developing independent living skills 
• budgeting advice and debt management 
• person-centred support to avoid crisis, social exclusion and isolation
