Who can use this service? We provide this service in Liverpool and Wirral and Sefton (with some eligibility restrictions).  We do not currently offer this service in Halton, Knowsley, or St. Helens but our Online Chat/Telephone Advice line may be able to help or let you know of other services that can help.

Resettlement
If you are moving into your own home from temporary accommodation or from unsuitable accommodation, we can help you get settled in your new home

We will arrange to meet with you in your own home or at another agreed location and assess your needs and how we can best help. We will agree with you a plan of support to fits your needs. 

​Our support can include:-

• Helping you prepare to move into your own accommodation
• Supporting you practically to set up home e.g. sourcing furniture, establishing utilities etc.
• Ensuring you are receiving any welfare benefits to which you are entitled
• Help with budgeting and finance and organisational planning to manage utilities and household bills
• Any help needed to fulfil the responsibilities of a tenancy agreement e.g. getting on with neighbours; know-how to deal with repairs and any improvements to the property; ensure the accommodation is warm, safe and secure
• Support to access other services you may need e.g. health, mental health, where appropriate services that can help with alcohol or substance use
