To access the service call in to one of our drop-in sessions or complete a referral form online and we will contact you. Opening hours: Support and housing management is provided through regular visits by our support workers at the properties Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Venue: We currently have shared properties in L4, L9, L13 and L7. |
The Whitechapel Centre is pleased to be working with LHT to provide transitional shared supported accommodation for our clients who are homeless or in housing need and suitable for shared living. These single-sex properties provide a valuable resource in helping to accommodate clients for whom shared accommodation is a more appropriate option for example, those that would be subject to the shared accommodation rate from housing benefit. Each person has their own furnished bedroom whilst sharing kitchen, lounge and bathrooms with others resident in the house. Clients can live in these properties for a period of time whilst addressing their support needs and preparing for further independence.
Support is provided by our experienced staff to help clients with a variety of issues whilst developing their independent living skills and working towards independent accommodation. They also provide a housing management role to ensure that the properties are maintained to a high standard. |
