Set up your fundraising page

There are lots of innovative ways to raise money, have fun and help make a positive change to more lives. Use your imagination to come up with your very own fundraising activity. It doesn’t have to be a big physical challenge, look at the things you enjoy doing, people you know who would help and develop it from there.

Before you start, get in touch with us, tell us your plans and we’ll support you along the way. We can provide fundraising materials, sponsor forms and lots of helpful tips, ideas and advice.

To spark your imagination here are a few ideas . . .

Organise a sponsored event... 
Knitting, reading or sitting in a bath of beans – whatever you enjoy – or hate! Set yourself a challenge and ask family, friends and colleagues for sponsorship. You could even persuade them to join in!

Be sociable . . . on Zoom
Host a cook with me evening with friends, hold a fashion show/ auction or organise
a music night/family fun quiz - sell tickets and have a great night supporting The Whitechapel Centre.

Make it a group effort...
A group effort can be just as rewarding,
so if you’re a group who want to fundraise, look at taking on a join fitness challenge, aim to run 2021 miles this year, complete a month of Burpees, cut out the chocolate for lent. Whatever it is, you'll have great fun doing it together.​

It doesn’t all have to be virtual 
Fill a smartie tube with 20p coins, have a spare change jar, sell unwanted items on ebay or ask your local shop to take one of our collection cans.
